Re: February 2017 LSAT Thread
I don't remember the LG but I had two sections and after I compared notes with other people who took the test, found that the first LG was the experimental one. I'm hoping that's true because I didn't even get to the last game in the first one. Didn't really finish the questions for the last one in the second section either but I did figure out the diagram. I don't think the LGs were too bad honestly. LRs seemed easier than normal? But I might be making that up because I'm terrible at LR. RC seemed about average.
Glad that's over though haven't made up my mind about whether I'd like to cancel. I knew going in I wasn't ready to take the test - I'm happy I took it though! The experience was definitely worth having. Not sure about what to do with the score though.

I think Dave Killoran predicted a March 1st release UGHHHairwrecka wrote:Forgot to mention my experimental section was LR. My test was LR, RC, LR, LR, LG. The first LR was definitely the easiest, so I hope it wasn't experimental! haha but I really felt mostly fine about all of them.
I think I recognize both of those questions but can't for the life of me remember specifics or if I thought they were easy or hard Either way, even if you got those two wrong (unlikely), you probably still did AMAZINGLY on the test overalletramak wrote:That f*%king mystery novel question. And for some reason the SAD question. I read the SAD question 5 times. Finished the section. Read it 5 times again. I don't know what I was missing. It came so early in the section that it must have been easier than I was making it out to be
*Please let me know if this violates LSAC guidelines. As far as I can remember people last June were referring to specific LR questions without going into detail
Scores come out in approximately 3 weeks correct? There's not some special timeline (miracle) that means Feb scores come out in just one week?

Re: February 2017 LSAT Thread
Guys, reflecting on it I basically got my ideal test. LR RC LR LR LG, and I think the first LR was the experimental because I think it was only 25 questions and 102 seems to be the consensus. Love having the first section as experimental to warm up before it counts lol and love having an extra LR and love having LG last because by the time I got to them I was so focused and ready to go. I was begging the LSAC gods not to give me a LG experimental.

Maybe I'm psyching myself out, but I was pretty sure my G2 was the silver/gold vases then G3 was the 1-6/7-12. I'm hearing that these games were reversed, can anyone please clarify???

What do you guys mean by -12, -13 curve? Is that how much you could miss and still get a 170?

Re: February 2017 LSAT Thread
My experience:
My first section was an experimental LG. It went HORRIBLY. Normally, on practice tests, I go -0 with time to spare, and the occassional -1 or -2 for stupid mistakes/lack of full motivation. This section? I skipped around a ton and guessed on like 6. I think this was mostly due to nerves, as this was my first official section ever. I was completely freaking out and contemplated getting up and cancelling.
This had me flustered for the rest of the test, even though I tried my best to forget it and power through.
Afterwards, I felt decently about the first LR. Objectively I thought it was very easy but worried that because I was flustered I might have overlooked something.
Felt good/average about the RC, and good about the second LR.
Felt good about the LG, contrary to some people's apparent experiences.
Curious to hear how people felt about the LRs.

But how can you have two LGs and two RCs? You need to have two LR sections.Plurple_Unicorn wrote:Actually, I'm not so sure it was in that order.etramak wrote:????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????Plurple_Unicorn wrote:I had two LG and RC sections.

Someone who usually gets it right predicted -12 to -13. But there isnt really a point in predicting the scale. February test is undisclosed so you wont know the scale nor will you know how many questions you got wrong.
