So I took the LSAT in October and scored a 167 -- I went -5 on RC and LR combined, and -9 on games (ugh). My prep has been comprehensive, meaning I've exhausted every PT and have devoted considerable time and effort to this miserable exam. I'm in a similar position (cancel-167-179), and I was almost all self-study. The only book I used was this one. I know it's positively ancient by LSAT prep standards, but I went through it a total of twice (half-assed it before my first two LSATs and went through for real before my last one) and came out with games being my favorite, best section by far. It might help. Aside from that, sheer repetition was the trick for me. Not much help, probably, but it's all I got. Best of luck!
