there is no rush. it's better to take it slow first than to rush things and deal with a mess later.
for example, i have learned that there are 1000s of questions from the actual LSAT tests available. thus, there is no obvious need to start reading prep books until one has done many genuine tests. the books could actually be harmful.

good idea.

I did too. :D

Given the lack of new posts from the OP, he must have taken SA's sarcastic suggestion seriously! lol

Common OP, post again. This thread has much more lulz potential.

Op wtf plz tell me if this does not parallel your logic.

I've done well as a street racer so I'm aiming to be the next champ at formula1. I've never seen an F1 race but I've heard it involves driving. I think the best approach to achieve this goal is to formulate a plan, invest time and effort, before I watch film of the cars or before I test drive a F1 style car.

OP, your idea makes no logical sense whatsoever. Image

The idiom "putting the cart before the horse" comes to mind regarding your plan and order of operations.

Perhaps you should pause and think Image, take some time to look at, analyze and work some LSAT questions, get familiar with the test and determine/improve your aptitude before even considering trying to teach others how to perform well. Does that sound fair and reasonable?

I think you either have it all mentally reversed and discombobulated if you are sincere or otherwise are just a lame troll/flame poster.

Great effort on behalf of both of you; I extend my sincerest thanks for the hilarity.

your analogy is flawed.

GRE and LSAT are not that different from each other. both highly correlate with IQ.

It is what it ain't!

FWIW, he isn't the only one teaching with a score like that.

Not saying what company I work for, but the scary thing is most of the teachers have lower scores than that.

and ability to drive a street racer versus and F1 AREN'T highly correlated? you seem to be making the mistake of assuming that r=1. just because you're 99% on GRE doesn't mean you'll just pick up the LSAT and score 173 cold. I wouldn't be at all surprised if you scored in the 160s (or lower given some of the logical fallacies you've been making).

In my analogy both "correlate" with high driving skills. Good luck with parallel and flaw questions. And strengthen/weakening.

Hey all,

What is the Average Prep Time for 170+?

I am asking for "Average", so please do not come up with: "It varies from person to person" etc.

I think the responses to this question can be averaged out, and that will be really helpful to many people!

Medium score of LSAT takers is 150. In other words, an average person scores ~150. Thus, OP question can be simplified to ~ this: "How long does it take to improve from 150 to 170 or by 20 points?"

LMAO, TLS is basically a forum for hating on people and trying to pick at people's arguements and what not.

OP, if you think the GRE and LSAT scored have basis from IQ, so be it. Just study hard (or don't, depending on your IQ) and give it your best.

So you don't see anything wrong with someone giving advice under the name LSAT_Tutor who has never even seen an LSAT question? This person is just asking to get flamed (and is quite possibly a troll himself).

there's a difference between spelling and actually knowing the word. so have you actually looked at a question yet or are you still planning it out?
