1. 160

2. Leading up to June 167-177, with the most recent averaging around 173.

3. 170 -1 LR, -5 LG, -6 RC

Caveat: I was very sleep-deprived for the LSAT. I believe I could have scored at least a 174 had I gotten adequate sleep, but I'm happy with the 170.

1. Original Diagnostic: 153 (after going through some of LG Bible)
2. Average of Last 10 PTs before JUNE '10: 170.8 (Range: 166-173)
3. June '10 LSAT: 171 (Changed one of my intern answers last minute to the wrong answer  , should have been a 172, really pissed)

-About 3-4 months of studying
-Went through LR, LG bibles and some of RC bible
-About 25-30 Full PTs, Last 10 were 5 sectioned

*Like "Juevonate" I was very sleep deprived, I was so nervous the night before I didn't fall asleep until about 5am, woke up at 8:30. I left the LSAT and everything was a blur

Wow this is very similar to me only I scored ~10 points lower on the real thing and my average was, say, 169ish.

I am embarrassed on my own behalf. I did well on LG, at least :|

156- first practice LSAT in apprx. 2006 (apprx score/ may not have been accurately timed)

156-173 total practice range (took probably a total of 40 practice tests, mostly piecemeal, over a period of 2-3 years studying on and off). I would say my overall average was probably 163 (but didn't carefully keep track). Hit 170s several times toward end of practicing before the actual test, with a 170 under strict timed conditions (5 sections) for prep course I ended up taking (the diagnostic for the course). The other 170+ scores were generally timed but I broke the tests into sections, and some of the LG may not have been strictly timed (LG was my final downfall- on tests where I got 5 or less LG questions wrong I think I inevitably ended up in or very close to 170s range).

166- actual score on Dec. 2009 LSAT (-9 on LG).

Jeez, that's a gigantic improvement. Lots of optimism and inspiration in these answers. :)

Based on 2 months study using a Powerscore prep course. Studied pretty much every weekday (April-May) for about 4-5 hours.

Diagnostic - 134 (the hardtop on my car ~$1000 was stolen the night before and I was unaware that guesses should be made  )
Average pt's - 153-157, highest being a 163 on a late 90's PT (total of about 10 pt's)
Actual June 2010 - 160 (-3 LG, -11 LR, - 12 RC)

I was having issues finishing LR and RC sections in the allotted time. Ended up having to guess on about 2-4 questions per LR section and an entire passage in RC. Not finishing sections was a common issue in my PT's leading up to the June LSAT.

Initial Diagnostic: 164
PT Range: 171-176 (hit 180 once or twice but only on the old PTs in the single digits)
Actual: 178

I hadn't slept in the 24 hrs before the test thanks both to nerves and a next-door neighbor party, and I was having a panic attack up until the exact moment the test began when it all went away...I think the pure adrenaline pushing through my fatigue actually helped, YMMV.

To those that were sleepless/nervous before the LSAT - did that affect your score? This happens to me a lot before a big college exam, and never seems to hurt my performance - but then again, haven't had many exams at 8 am.

Not getting an adequate amount of sleep before an exam that lasts over 4 hours would probably hurt most people. Majority of undergrad exams ~1-2 hours?

I think sleep loss and nerves affected me some. For some reason I got all worked up over the LG section and made two really stupid mistakes, and then the two LR mistakes were in the last section when I was getting tired.

Studied for a month (and took a prep course) from the diagnostic to the exam:

1) What was your score on your initial diagnostic? 159

2) What were you getting on preptests? 159, 160, 164, 165, 170, 164, 174

3) What did you score on the June (or any previous LSAT)? 164

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
