Re: Is Powerscore's Reading Comprehension
I've been reading the other threads on this topic lately. Consensus tends to be do a lot of practice sections to get a feel for the questions. There's a mixed opinion over the benefit of reading "dense news magazines" like the economist and scientific America, and I've been convinced lately that a better option is to read academic journals and law reviews. Usually agreement on this tends to be that you gotta do it for 3-4 months, and its gotta be about an hour a day. I also found out that the average reading level of a RC passage is about 15 with a gunner index of 20-22 I believe.
Powerscore RC bible generally isn't worth the money from what I've read, unless you're bombing the section and don't know where to start. Even the updated version that addresses comparative reading is supposedly not very useful.

(I'd say what, 7/10 RC threads end in a Economist debate? lol...)
