Ace Test Prep wrong?

Post by sweet02215 » Thu Jan 07, 2010 10:14 pm

I just took PT 46 (June 05) and got -17. Does anyone know what score this translates to? Ace Test Prep says its a 162, but I'm not sure if that's right because I was browsing through older threads and saw that someone who had -19 said it was a 163 on that test. I've been getting much higher than that on the last four tests I took.. so the 162 is a bit discouraging.. hopefully it's not the right score. Someone please help!

You have a 164. Ace is wrong.

165 84 84
164 83 83
163 81 82
162 80 80
161 78 79

A 165, actually. -17 is 84 questions right. There are 101 questions.

One of the questions was omitted on the test. Is that factored into the scale? Or does it mean it's out of 100 questions?

One question was omitted so it's actually out of 100, meaning he got 83 questions right. Remember, scoring on the LSAT is just the number of questions you get correct. If one is omitted, the maximum you can get correct is 100, meaning OP got a 83.

So it is a 164.
