how long of a break can you take?

Post by nellie06 » Mon Jan 11, 2010 8:53 pm

I was just wondering b/c a friend of mine was contemplating jd/pa (law/physician assistant) which doesnt really exist yet, unlike jd/md. I think the idea is partially insane as I am fed up with just law school haha, but I wondered if it was even feasible. I dont think any schools offer it but how long of a break could someone take between 1L and 2L and still come back to the law school?

I think most schools allow leaves of absence for a few years, if necessary.

Depends on the school ... if this is something you are interested in, then I would pursue it ...
