Checking in again- after yesterday I am officially done with school and work till law school starts. Leaving for a long-ass vacation in 10 days.

Just filed papers with my state to recover money that my job hasn't paid me so I feel you here. Wish I could quit now but the need the money to pay for apartment deposits, school deposits, stuff to actually put in apartment etc...

Summer goals include establishing a workout routine that is at a time that will likely make sense continuing into law school. Currently limited to at home workouts so super excited to be going to a school with huge rec facilities woooo state flagships.

Working on better meal planning/prep with healthy foods. Also excited to be moving to a place where I'll have my car again for grocery shopping since it'll make that easier.

Not rage-quitting my job earlier than planned.

Enjoying my last summer in the best city for summer (Chicago. fight me.) including one planned music festival and that I live down the road from a beach (RIP to my dream I realized way earlier in life than I ever thought I would that I'm already leaving behind)

Reading all the books. I started this week with one I bought a year ago that I had tossed in my "to read" pile and never got around to reading. Got 60 pages in, just as things were getting interesting, and the next 40 pages had been ripped out. Excellent start.

Yeah I gotta say, one exciting thing about law school is the gym membership. It's been too long since I've had consistent access to a pool, swimming laps > weight training.

Have a final 10 page paper due at 3pm. Have written 3 pages. Never bought the textbook for the class which is required to be cited in the paper. But I just watched 13 Jon Hamm interviews on youtube.

I have so many hard deadlines to meet this month and yet I'm like "Why do I care?"

As much as I don't like my job and cannot wait to leave, it is probably the last time I'll ever have a job where I can wear t shirts I bought at Hot Topic when I was 16, and I'll miss that. Also, can't believe some of these $18 shirts have held up this well for over a decade!

When I started my job in fall of 2014, we were business casual with casual Fridays. Summer of 2016 we did 'summer casual' which they decided to keep. I'm gonna miss being able to claim my leggings are pants since they have a zipper and belt loops.
