In any event, I'm perfectly satisfied with CLS.
I'm perfectly satisfied with CLS too, but if Harvard comes knocking, I'd have to take it unless I got literally a full ride at Columbia and less than half-off from Harvard.
Meh. Boston is the worst and I'm pretty unconvinced that Harvard offers a better legal education than CLS for most students.

Where are y'all trying to live next year? I'm personally hoping to get 400 block of West 115th or 420 West 116th St. I've only visited NYC once in my life, so anything further than a block or two away from the law school feels like it'll be a little much for the first year.

Yep, I tend to agree.

H just doesn't have the mythic appeal to me it does for a lot of people, idk.

As a type A who likes having everything planned in advance, scrambling at the last minute to change all my plans for a last-minute H acceptance sounds like a nightmare for me. Add that to the fact that I'd be guaranteed to pay sticker there and I'd prefer to stay in NYC, and it was an easy decision to withdraw.

Has anybody seen the 3 and 4 bedroom shares? Are they as bad as they sound? My biggest fear now is getting one of those assigned.

I have a 110 lbs golden. Unfortunately I have to leave it at home for 3 years. I can't afford to have him around me both money wise and time wise.

is it an "aggressive" breed? some buildings have breed requirements but most dog-friendly buildings don't specify/probably don't, it seems

He's a German shepherd and I believe most places do consider them as "aggressive breeds"

hmm maybe you can say he's a Belgian malinois or something similar. i once had a friend with a pitbull who told landlords her dog was a staffordshire terrier and no one ever bothered to google what they look like :D

my dog is a lab/pitbull mix and we're just doing to call him a "lab mix" ;) he's also going to be an emotional support animal and get some references from our current landlord, neighbors, and dog sitter :D

I like having the option of eating world class cuisine and drinks made by top-class mixologists only a subway ride away vs. being stuck in Cambridge with only Newbury St. as a place of "culture"

Same here but I did call yesterday and they said they expected it to be done within a week. Also said they were emailing it instead of snail mail

Is housing actually assigned May 15? Pretty sure the app is just *due* by May 15 and we find out later what we've been assigned.

Went to NYU ASD today just to get a better sense of the difference between the two schools.

CLS and NYU couldn't be more different. That neighborhood is like something out of RENT. If I needed signs that it isn't for me, the last things I saw before I left "campus" were: a guy walking barefoot on a city sidewalk (wow), and another guy who I thought was homeless based on his appearance until I realized he was clearly carrying school books.

Cash me uptown how bow dah.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
