What should I buy to prepare myself for Ithaca? Emphasis on cold weather gear, I suppose. But whatever else you guys feel is essential, too. I want to create a checklist of things I need to get.

Hi! I'd love to know what your schedule and the workload is like. I took a break from studying and had a job after college so now I'm nervous about getting back to studying

PM'd you the long version. The upshot is to treat it like a job, manage your time well, stay on top of things and law school can actually be pretty enjoyable!

Supply and demand. Fly into NYC and take a bus up to Ithaca -- it tends to be more cost effective, the airport in Ithaca is extremely unreliable and you'll have to take a bus anyway if you fly into Syracuse.

I would rather pay an extra $100-150 than take a 5 hour bus ride roundtrip.

FYI for anyone in Boston I'm going to drive to the March 24th ASW...if you'd like a ride feel free to hit me up, I'm happy to accept gas money :D

Is that just for the flight? I booked my flight/hotel in under $600 last week on Travelocity

Did anyone else get that email from the Office of Financial Aid to discuss finances/scholarships during ASD?

I was hoping to negotiate through email, since I already have a very generous offer from Cornell and would feel strange doing it in person.

Hey everyone,

has anyone received information about student login? (not the admitted students page but the actual class registration, tuition, etc- student service login)

This was in my reply to your PM, but just to get it out there for others that might be interested: NetID login (including Cornell email address) info came out via email early May last year (so look for it after the first deposit deadline sometime). Class registration is automatic and no need to worry about tuition 'til summer.

why don't you just contact the people renting the place out and see if they can send you some pics?

i have and they said they would upload them if they had any. so i guess it's either finding a place with pictures or flying out to Ithaca just for this (from Eastern Europe hah)

I don't know about hiring, but you can definitely ask fellow admits or current students to go view it for you. Try asking in the fb group.

If there are any males out there looking for a 1L roommate, PM me. I want to get a jump on the apartment-hunting process.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
