On the facebook page they said info on orientation is coming out this week and our schedules. I'm hoping it's tomorrow. Ever since I quit my job I've been so bored. I don't move until next weekend so I have no idea what to do until then.

Oh my god, I've been so bored since quitting my job too. My boyfriend has been working late too so I feel like I'm at home just doing NOTHING 24/7. I'm so ready for things to just start up. No idea what to do with myself until orientation!

Are we supposed to receive a confirmation or notice when the school receives our transcripts?

Like on the check status page it says they received my letter of intent, deposit, and headshot photo. I'm wondering if it should say anything there about receiving transcripts. I just don't want to get to school and have them tell me they never got my transcripts or they need the ones from my community college I went to before transferring. Guess I'll just shoot them an email.

They get processed via the Graduate and International Admissions Center. My admissions letter said to call the number on this page: https://gradschool.utexas.edu/admissions/contact to confirm receipt.

Edit: They got it. Now I'm just hoping I'm not possibly missing anything else on my application file.

Sections are up!!!! Log-in in the check your status page and it will show our section and society. Would link but I'm on mobile. I'm in section 4.

I'm so happy knowing the latest I get out of class is 3:22. I was hoping I wouldn't get one of the 4:30 classes. All my mornings start at 9:10 though, which isn't bad since I planned on hitting the gym at 7 every morning.

Can y'all confirm that section 4 is the gunner section? It always is, but just confirm it after first semester.

Dammann is great, assuming you're cool with MC finals. Very relaxed and doesn't expect too much in terms of reading load. He'll give you his own little printout in addition to the textbook, and that printout is the most important thing to know for the final.

Confirmed Section 4 is consistently a gunner minefield. Tread carefully friends.

my tour guide told me there were no gunners at UT.
