Nice. Whole Foods cooks my dinner for me most days as I live right down the block. $3 mimosas on the weekends and $3 staff-pick drafts every day too!mukol wrote:I'll be like...super kind of close to that whole foods.EnfieldTennisChamp wrote:I live in that area and really like it. Well, technically I'm in Snelling-Hamline but basically the same. Brand new awesome Whole Foods on Selby and Snelling, a few good bars/restaurants on Dale and Selby (Cathedral Hill) - Salt Cellar, WA Frost, Moscow on the Hill, Happy Gnome, Muddy Pig, Sweeney's. Everything else on Grand Ave.mukol wrote:What's the deal with Highland and/or Macgroveland? Legit, or naw?

Portals in Roseville are really spread out, but the Merriam Park/Midway area is dense, especially on Macalester's campus and the State Fair grounds.mukol wrote: Well, how many portals or whatever they're called?

Not to be a grumpy local, but this list has some problems! The good news is, if that list looked good - the reality is even better!CJRpnw wrote:Saw this posted this morning: http://www.minnesotamonthly.com/Food/Fo ... Best-Food/
Not gonna lie, it got me more excited for moving than anything else. HOT DISH!

Anything west of snelling and north of grand and south of the interstate?
As you can see, the action is basically directly south of Grand and west of Snelling. In that screenshot, 94 is basically right at the top of the frame.

And here, from left to right, are the U of M's St Paul campus, the Fair Grounds, and Como Zoo/Como Park.

Figured I'd kickstart this board again, since the admitted students Facebook page isn't really conducive to conversation. How is everyone doing on the lead-up to Orientation? Did everyone get their section assignments? I'm surprised to see how much the book list totals vary per section, but maybe it all comes round in the second semester... And also, SO MANY MANDATORY FORMS TO FILL OUT.
