I'd say 95% chance I'll be at UW. Unless something spectacular happens in the next few months, I'm looking forward to sticking around Puget Sound. Good to know that the train station will finally be finished, too!

Does anyone know if the scholarship info will be sent to our regular emails or to our UW emails?

Also, someone should create the Facebook group for our class. I tried but you have to add at least one friend to create a group and idk anyone else who is admitted here, though I suppose I could add a random friend.

Source: admitted students portal. Which I'm glad I checked because I totally forgot to set my account up. :/

Financial aid award info goes to uw email address. Law school scholarship info, including Gates and Gregoire, goes to the email address registered with LSAC.forlornhope wrote:"Your UW NetID is your personal identification and username for using UW online resources. I am not super duper sure, since I don't use facebook, but I think someone from admissions has made the facebook "class of" page in past years. I could definitely be wrong about this.gastronomy wrote:I agree, haha. I don't know anyone else who has been accepted to UW (hence, the same problem), but a FB group sounds like a great idea.jsquared wrote:Also, someone should create the Facebook group for our class. The website says it's student-run and that once someone makes the page they will send out a link in the next newsletter.

The fb page is student run. Sometimes the upperclassmen start it up. Maybe someone will do it after finals.

It was me that had contacted admissions. This is what I got back:gastronomy wrote:Yeah, they're supposed to be released the week after March 15th. "Scholarships will only be sent to UW e-mails, not personal e-mails. We had a slight hold up earlier this week due to complications with UW Central Registrar processing admitted students for us. We’re working to get scholarship packages sent out as soon as we can, by early next week at the latest."

I have only been able to set up email forwarding. Can someone help me figure out how to set up our actual UW emails?
