There are things to do. Since nobody has responded, I guess the question is whether your fellow admits want to do them. There's a huge grad student mixer at Moonies tonight, but you have to be a current student to get in, and you probably shouldn't get too ratchet since you have to wake up early for ASD anyway. Could probably just grab a drink at Rulloff's. And if you're still in Collegetown at 10pm, can check out the fantastic taco truck at the corner of Eddy and Dryden. Or just hang out in the Commons instead.

Any word on the Travel Subsidy??? Submitted Mine almost a month ago

I think we applied around the same time... I received an email 2 weeks ago telling me I was approved for the subsidy.

They have had "breakdowns in communication" so if you submitted travel subsidy requests awhile ago and haven't heard anything, just shoot them an email and they will let you know what's going on. That's what they told me today and I submitted mine 2/23

I was admitted 3ish weeks ago and already have my initial aid offer but I still don't have my red book how long has it taken other folks to receive their book?

Same position as you. Admitted 3ish weeks ago and still no red book, so just know you're not alone.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that we had to put the first seat deposit down by May 1 OR within a week of receiving our scholarship offer.

Does anyone remember if that's right?

I don't recall seeing anything like that on mine. Also people got offers as early as mid feb if i remember correctly. No way they would expect people to deposit that soon. May 1st I think is the only requirement.

No, I don't think so, unless you want to try and negotiate.

I've been waiting for something, anything in the mail from Cornell, but I haven't received it. How long after they admitted you did you receive the package? Maybe I should email Admissions...

There's also a delay in accepting students. I requested to join last week and I'm still not in.

A few have attempted already and said that Cornell replied by saying April 1.
