Yes. Especially since Vanderbilt is my top choice right now.

I'm in the exact same boat. I have scheduled visits with other schools, but really just want to end the process and know where I am going to end up next year...it's all coming down to Vandy's aid.

I e-mailed someone who works for the admissions/financial aid department and asked pretty much straight up.

I hope we get our answers tomorrow. I'm ready to accept the offer and be done with the hell of not knowing. (Unless I end up being one of the applicants who gets an email notifying me that I'm not getting anything  )

According to their stats, 81% of applicants receive aid, with the median amount being $20K (I'm guessing that's per year, or I hope so anyway).

Any idea on the number of those asked to interview for merit scholars and those awarded the scholarship?

According to last year's ABA stats, 15 students received more than full scholarships. (None received a fully)
I know that doesn't answer the question, but my best guess is there were 15 awarded. (Unless those numbers include need - based aid, then idk)
222 received half to full schollies, and 252 received less than half. These figures reflect all three classes (not just the Class of 2015) so it would look like only 5 students per year receive these awards. Of course I'm drawing conclusions based on limited info, but it's the best I've got :)

I also checked those stats out and found it very interesting that they offered 0 full tuition scholarships.

The fact that 19% receive no aid makes me nervous.

Cool cool yea I should've check the 509 - blanked a bit. Since these students are in a good haul of the T14, potentially with some very solid scholarships, I bet they award a decent amount more than accept. At least for them the trip to Nashville helps weed out those not that serious about it

According to another poster, who called the admissions office, awards will be emailed either today or tomorrow.

Just got my package! Very generous but I have a better offer from a T14 so I'll be withdrawing. Best of luck to all of you!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
