Same boat on the 29th. Still seems like an eternity away to me...

I hope it's as good as the game last night! Though I'll take Italia going up 3-0 in the first 15 minutes.

Yesterday's game was as fast-paced because of the lack of defense. I actually prefer games that are played defensively, with each team deploying tactics that try to break down the other's defense (when it's NOT my team playing). In this case, I would be completely satisfied if Germany dismantles Italy the way they dismantled Brasil in the 2014 World Cup. :D

I don't think I'm alive right now. There's no word to describe what that game was. Oh my god.

I don't really know how I feel about it all. I don't know if I've seen a worse penalty shootout in my lifetime. I thought Italy showed moments of brilliance, but neither team could get any good shots on goal. The closest chance for Germany came off of Chiellini's foot, and I don't think Italy had any really strong shots on goal.

At least now I will feel no internal conflict as I cheer on Wales to the final

It was Germany's game to win. If it weren't for Boateng's lapse of judgment (USED to be a top contender for the Germany MVP), that match would have ended within regulation. Those PKs were awful. Mueller still can't score in the Euro, Ozil misses a SECOND PK, and Schweinsteiger forgets how to kick... Sigh.

Deciding between leaving the 22nd or the 29th...

The long weekend didn't help the 29th' cause at all...

My last day used to be the 29th but I moved it up to the 22nd. It was such a relief.
