I've been checking it to see if my scholarship mailing has gone out and today there's no status or date showing.

Thanks! It was about a month ago.

Good on you for getting in early in the game! Mine was within the last week and I was told to expect a 3-4 week turnaround. I suppose the timeline could've been different for earlier interviewees, but it stands to reason that you can expect to hear back very soon!

It was a few days afterwards for them to send mine out. So you may hear something on Thursday assuming a similar timeline.

Awesome. Want to get $$$ info so I can make a decision already... all the different checklists and to-do items are stressing me out, although I guess that's a good problem to have.

I've been lurking around various threads, but I haven't found an answer to this question yet: Is there any chance that Duke gives out need/merit aid offers before completing an interview? I couldn't schedule an interview until April.

Haven't heard from any other schools (applied in late Jan / mid-Feb across the board...), so I guess I'm in no rush.

I think that technically you're allowed to skip the interview and that might speed up the process. But if you've already scheduled one I don't think they'll send you an offer before the interview.

So, do I rent one of the $110 a night hotel rooms because other 0Ls will be there and it will make it easier to socialize and go out, or do I rent a $70 AirBnB because that's $40 saved. I'm leaning hotel, but anyone else have thoughts?

If you have your own transportation, AirBnB would be fine (as long as you aren't staying super far away and there aren't restrictions on coming and going - idk how ABnB works).

Yeah, I don't really expect it, it's just a good way to kill 30 seconds 50 times a day when I should be working.
