Is anyone else getting "you are not currently authorized to access this system" when trying to login to Helios? I'm assuming this is where everyone is getting their section information, not through an email?

It's possible that they took all of our access. I am no longer able to log in. Can anybody else confirm this?

I can't login anymore either. Someone on the Facebook page said they emailed the registrar and they said we were not supposed to able to log in this morning, and we will get an email later in the day that will let us login again.

The welcome emails were supposed to go out before HELIOS updated. Give it a few hours. :)

Thanks to both of you for confirming! Will just have to wait until later.

Can someone in section 1 post your classes/profs? And a screenshot/description of the schedule would be just splendid, if possible.

For anyone who doesn't know, you can check for info on some of your professors, and generally find useful stuff, on Dope

Great timing; I just finished publishing the new section pages:

Section 1

Section 2

Section 3

Section 4

Section 5

Section 6

Section 7

You should get an email with those links by tonight. Let me know if you spot an error; a lot of different departmental data has to be combined to make those section pages, and sometimes someone screws up. Usually an observant 1L catches it before we do.

Are the required books listed there usually pretty accurate? I'll start getting them now if so since I'm gonna go all used/rentals

From my experience they were spot on.
Also, if you are taking civ pro, just get the E&E while you're at it. (this goes for everyone). Also be sure to look st the dope listings for books. I know I'd like to sell some of my 1L books.

Yo.

Also if someone could screencap our class sched. I'd much appreciate. Currently in Boston trying to find somewhere to live.

Eight apartments down, one to go. Let's hope this one sticks. Otherwise, tent.

Does anyone know how/if we can use our remaining student loans to buy books? I'm probably buying all my stuff on Amazon so I can have it shipped to my room ahead of time, and I'm not trying to put that on my credit card
