My note was about my alumni interview as well -- it definitely seems like those played a sizable roll in pushing us splitters over the threshold from wl/hold/reject to accept if it's what Andy chose to write about.BirdLawExpert wrote:

So has it been determined that every admitted applicant got a video?

Everyone who was admitted prior to the videos going out on 1/20 was sent one...not sure if they are doing additional rounds of videos being sent out for applicants since then.NotoriousRBGJr. wrote:So has it been determined that every admitted applicant got a video?

That's right, I got bored and made another new poll. Get to it, Hoyas.

Did you read all of the bios? That list includes a lawyer who was a Medal of Honor recipient who went on to be Chief Justice of SCOTUS and later the Pope.squirtlesquad14 wrote:Charlie is obviously the greatest fictional Hoya Lawya ever.BirdLawExpert wrote:That's right, I got bored and made another new poll. I did, but hold by my statement. I may be biased by the fact that I don't have enough fingers to count how many times I have watched the entire series in my life...but that is neither here nor there. TWW is love, TWW is life. RIP Mrs. Landingham.BirdLawExpert wrote:Did you read all of the bios? 1. Favorite episode/arc?
2. Favorite guest actor?
3. Amy or Donna?

Anyone who doesn't say "Two Cathedrals" is lying to you...but as a general story arc "In the Shadow of Two Gunmen" Parts 1 and 2 are a close second.BirdLawExpert wrote:1. Favorite episode/arc?
That is a tough one. Nick Offerman is definitely up there, if for nothing more than the absurdity of his character's role. Being an NCIS fan I am also a sucker for Mark Harmon's stint as a secret service agent...but one could easily go on and on with all of the great guest actors who popped in throughout the series.2. Favorite guest actor?
Donna without a doubt. I don't know who runs them, but the Donna and Josh twitter accounts are one of the best things on the internet.3. Amy or Donna?

For me, it's (1) a tie between Two Cathedrals and The Supremes (Glenn Close and William Fichtner are phenomenal), (2) I will always love Oliver Platt and John Goodman, they were both perfect, and (3) based purely on interactions during the run of the show, I pick Amy. The twitter accounts are great, but the Donna of the show never meshed with Josh in the way that Amy did.
But yeah, I've seen West Wing way too many times all the way through. If I end up at Georgetown I'll probably be quoting it all the damn time.
Final question: who in the main cast would you want to be?

I think I'd have to go with Leo.BirdLawExpert wrote:Final question: who in the main cast would you want to be?
Edit: CJ is a close second though...I'd love to be able to do the Jackal

Well if I was actually becoming the actor who played any of the main cast, Rob Lowe is the obvious choice...the man never ages. I mean they discuss case law occasionally, and the whole thing is mired in constitutional issues. I've been thinking about doing a West Wing podcast like Kumail Nanjiani's The X-Files Files, but I know I wouldn't finish it before 1L starts up. And also I don't have famous comedian friends or a theme song.squirtlesquad14 wrote:So...rewatching the series for the millionth time is totally productive preparation for law school, right?BirdLawExpert wrote:Alternate title for the entire series.jumbo2016 wrote:100% accuratesquirtlesquad14 wrote:
