Where did you end up?

Georgetown. DC is the center of everything in the country that matters, so of course I'm going to the best school in DC. Also, have you SEEN the student rec center?!

George Washington. Georgetown is great, but G-Dub is in Foggy Bottom and I'd like to eat at ShopHouse as often as humanly possible.

Vanderbilt. Georgetown is too big, and I need to live in a city with actual barbecue.

UCLA. I don't understand why people would voluntarily go to law school somewhere that has winter.

Cornell. I want all of the prestige of Georgetown, but without all of that pesky cosmopolitan culture.

Northwestern. I needed a school that was more business-minded, and also one that has buildings that don't remind me of the USSR.

Wear whatever feels comfortable. Weather outside is brutally hot/humid, but done rooms inside can get chilly.

So, just got into my GULC email for the first time. Kinda behind the ball...

I have no classes that I'm registered for in Canvas - as I supposed to (part-time)?

How are you guys figuring out what books you are supposed to buy - I see the suggestion of the bookstore, but I don't think I'm clicking on teh right link (on the student portal) because the site that i am taken to is down.

Thanks!

The list of club sports seems really limited - does GULC have any intramural sports teams? Tennis / volleyball, anything?

Yeah, I seem to remember basketball, volleyball, and soccer leagues. Probably a few more. I'm sure there are squash/racquetball leagues since they have the courts. There's also a city/community league that I see using the space sometimes, although that may be more of a summer thing.

Hey y'all. I'm a 3L about to graduate. I was really motivated to minimize my expenses and borrowing, and this worked out really well for me, so sharing for anyone else interested -- and happy to share more detail.

I rented a host, and I host airbnb in a guest room in the house. Overall, I'm out *zero* for rent and utilities, after the money from my airbnb guests and my other permanent roommates. In short, I've been doing this since the start of my 3L year, and the airbnb has been more money, more fun, but also, more work than I expected.

It's a nice house near H St NE, close to campus. There are no local condo/HOA rules, and the landlord is cool with it.

Wouldn't be Georgetown Law if there wasn't one last grades concern.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
