Anyone familiar with Cleveland or Sandusky
I'll be in those cities in October and then December for a concert and then Santa 5k fun run. The concert is 1030 on the 9th of October, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it home the same night so I was thinking of coming right after class and having dinner somewhere in town. Any recommendations? For Sandusky, that's on the 20th of December, so just throwing that out there to see if anyone else is doing it.

Well fuck, guess I'll have to throw darts on a city map.

That's where I'm going in December. The Santa run is in Cedarpoint.

Depends on where you are in Cleveland, but here a couple of the more famous places:
Melt - been on the food network; they make these really crazy (and really delicious) grilled cheese sandwiches. Reasonable prices and a decent beer list too.
Mama Santas - in the italian district, but affordable and not overly fancy. Gets awards for its pizza basically every year
Momocho's - Great mexican food
Sokolowski's - polish food served cafeteria style. Pretty neat place / atmosphere
Happy Dog - live music. Hot dogs are really good, and they have any topping you could ever think of

Re: Anyone familiar with Cleveland or Sandusky
^great recommendations
My top recommendation for CLE would be Melt, followed by Sokolowskis. Melt is such a cool experience.
Christmas beers keep getting released earlier and earlier each year. If Great Lakes Xmas Ale is out in October, that is the one thing you absolutely have to try. If not, get it when you're in Sandusky when you're back in December.
