yeah same
IDK I hate people and going places but I didn't go to the Christmas party
Don't do things. Why would you do things? Who has ever done things and said, 'I'm glad I did those things'? Compare to the people who sit at home and watch netflix. Who do you really want to be?

I want to be the guy who even refreshes the grades website outside of the registrar's office hours
so far I'm succeeding at my goals

Hikko there is free food at the event does that change your answer? It's definitely the only reason i'm considering it.
That makes it tempting, but it's not nearly as good as free-food events hosted by non-employers because I always have anxiety about how much to eat. Like, I'm pretty sure it's bad if the partners can tell it's the only meal I've had/will have in the last/next 48 hours.

Screw that. Eat everything and doggybag the rest. That's what normal humans do; don't listen to the school's employment voodoo psychobabble.

20 crab claws in my fridge for a week last year. NO REGRET.

Yah not going to go, also my note draft is due the next day and I still need a topic.
Now all I need is the perfect 'thanks but [good excuse]' email to not sound like I just don't want to go

I am too lazy for a good excuse

" Good Evening Debbie,

Thank you so much for the invitation! Unfortunately I am unable to make it to the event on the 26th.

All the best,

Lazy Piece of Shit"
That's usually what I do in these kind of situations haha

lol yes

looking at my schedule I was reminded that no one is a winner in lawl school. I hadn't pegged myself for a relentless masochist until 2L.
So you're saying I shouldn't take 21 hours for the spring semester? (3 in jterm 18 in regular term)

No joke. RCS why are you doing this? Are you a double?

Also I love how the poll has one option that is borderline-normal and four options that are varying degrees of clinically neurotic (I'm at stage 4).

Never. I wait for my classmates to tell me grades are up and then I go check.
