Seriously what the fuck

We should sue someone about this I think
At least you don't have more than half of law school left...

I hate the quarter system.
+1 (dual degree)

We're almost halfway there. But yeah, quarter system. I'm over it.

I wanted a dual degree, but I sure as hell didn't want to spend more than three years unless it was a T1 dual degree. I didn't get into one of those, so my jd and llm are only 3 years long.

It is honestly amazing that out of all my years in education, my law school years seem the most pointless and drawn out (not to mention expensive as fuck).

I feel like once I get to the point where I need an MBA, where I got it from won't matter one bit

True. I guess I can't be disappointed by late grades bc I have no idea if they're late or my other profs were just early...

Our grades posted a few days ago. Then a cryptic email was sent out by the administration about complaints in the application of a grading matrix to a final paper in the course. It seems that (on some undefined timeline) they are going to go back and review how the scoring was applied. When this is done grades may be adjusted up or down (in order to maintain the curve).

Ugh.

It should be a rule that grades can only be adjusted up after shit gets published.

This class is the highest grade I got this semester, so it seems unlikely that my grade will go up. It will be depressing if I lose the only bright spot for the term.

Apparently I did better during this semester than the spring of my 1L when I tried a lot harder. I think the takeaway for me is to just take easiest classes and collect every A possible.

The only class I had last term that they shared the number of students at each grade, I think A/A- had less than 20% of the class.

The class that I thought would be the hardest, and therefore decided to take pass/fail, ended up having this curve:

Grade / Percentage of Students
A / 40.00
A- / 32.00
B / 4.00
B+ / 16.00
P / 8.00

*palm*

TIL other schools don't have enforced curves for upper year classes. I feel ripped off

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
