I checked a week or two ago and my grades had not posted. Since then I decided I do not care what they are.unsweetened wrote:I get grades tomorrow, so FML in advance.

Sadly, it is more a mixture of absentmindedness and being too worn down to care.Gray wrote:You must either love your job or have great self-control.
I am a very non-trad student and I will not be seeking a job through a traditional law school pipeline as my existing work background/experience will be the primary driver and my law degree will be a extra little bonus. If I do not lose my mind and go for yet another graduate degree I suspect that I will never show my grades to anyone.
eta: plus in the last few weeks my cat died, my mother-in-law has had brain surgery (twice), my daughter just wrapped up second grade, and work has been on fire.

Are any of you planning on graduating early (December or another date)? I really wish I could but the sequencing of classes just won't let it happen. I'll have 80 hrs by the end of the summer (74 now).
Our Feb first time takers from the class that just graduated did well on the Bar.

Part of me is looking forward to 3LOL so I can really git gud at video games, but part of me wants to start making money and not have to save and calculate my budget for the upcoming 11ish months of no-income.

I've jammed all my classes into two days a week. I keep waffling between getting some externship for no credit, applying for some solo shop, or finding some gig economy job (dog walking perhaps??)PeanutsNJam wrote:Part of me is looking forward to 3LOL so I can really git gud at video games, but part of me wants to start making money and not have to save and calculate my budget for the upcoming 11ish months of no-income.
Still haven't applied for anything but I figure it won't be that big of a deal

Hopefully I'll be busy enough with my own that I don't need a job actually now that I say thisGray wrote:you can walk my dog if you're bored. Definitely looking forward to the 3LOL. Doing a semester long externship in the fall and then 10 credits in the spring. Trying to ignore the fact that I will be applying to literally hundreds of places.

One of my fellow summer interns told me that he applied to over 400 firms. Here I was thinking 140 was a lot, but it's really not. Try telling that to a fresh 1L and their eyes get all big. Gonna have to do it all over again since I won't be getting offered at the end of the summer.Gray wrote:ya thisunsweetened wrote: Trying to ignore the fact that I will be applying to literally hundreds of places.

I hope all of you do get that. I'm going to try, but will probably be Vale bound until bar passage.
