I guess you guys could try adult adoption. There are probably plenty of lonely old folks with money in DC.Gray wrote:Can't marry into money if you're already married. +1 for spouse without crippling debt. It is nice to know one of us can get a new(ish) car someday.Hikikomorist wrote:I guess you guys could try adult adoption. Also, do you have to call them "mom" and "dad" for adult adoptions to be legally binding?

I feel like there's probably a really high kink factor for the kind of lonely folks who would go for this, so... I'd think yes and eww.Minnietron wrote:+1 for spouse without crippling debt. Not if you do it in an unofficial way. There are plenty of old people who couldn't have kids or who's kids have died and they love spoiling people who would be their kids age and who provide companionship, assistance with random fixes around the house, etc. Is generally organic though

I don't actually know whether this is how they'd treat poor ol' bucki here at the law center but this is how I addressed my students who didn't respect deadlines back when I taught undergradsHikikomorist wrote:GULC professors taking their demotion hard. Re: Not the Sharpest 2L in the Shed
Got my academic schedule set for summer and fall.
Summer is of course a 6 hr externship overseas, most likely Georgia.
For Fall: Comparative Constitution Law, Comparative Administrative Law, Legal Profession (ethics MPRE), International Human Rights Law, Domestic Relations, and an externship with a local municipal public defenders office.

I have an 8 hr exam tomorrow standing between me and spring break. I don't know anything but I'm too done to care at this point.

I 'finished' my note a week ago, deadline is tomorrow night. Just learned the min pages required is 10 more than I thought .... somehow have to expand my note by 9 pages in less than a day. Thats what undergrad taught us right?

That ocean is uncrossable; must sit unmoving on I-85 until the Lamb of God opens the seven seals and a great voice comes out of the temple saying to the seven angels: "Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth."Minnietron wrote:Aside from an ocean of cars, I'm sure!radio1nowhere wrote:was v confused at first bc I was just in Atlanta and I didn't cross an oceanRCSOB657 wrote:Summer is of course a 6 hr externship overseas, most likely Georgia.
