My best friend was using it while studying for the MCAT and she said it turned her into an emotionless study zombie. I don't really like the idea of what that could do to a relationship.

Eh, I get pretty emotionless during finals anyway. I just get so bored of myself and my own thoughts that I stop being able to think about fun things to say to anyone. Definitely going to try and stay out of this mindset this time round. The law school set up seems little bit less conducive to it than exams at my UG so fingers crossed

Yeah, I have taken them a few times and really didn't find them that useful for studying. Very useful for cleaning and grinding your teeth, though.

Yeah, accidentally getting super focused on something totally unrelated to studying was my issue in UG too. I gave up on it.

I don't think you will need to worry because contracts and torts are so interesting there's no way you can get bored!

Ha that's not what I was trying to say. But at my UG we had a ~ 6 month period where we did nothing but study for the exams. At least law school exams seem relatively quick and painless, and the subject matter changes a bit every semester.

(correct me if I'm wrong here)

From what I gather from TLS posters/books like Law School Confidential, if you're on top of putting in ~8-10 hours of work/weekday in including attending class (like any other normal full time job), finals month won't be death. If you slack off in the first half of the semester, then you're playing catch up and weeping.
