Saturday is my last day. I haven't done anything resembling work for days and it's been great.

Re: Senioritis / Quitting-my-job-soon-iorits
Last day today. Many of the attorneys in the office had no idea I was leaving to attend law school. Some told me about their experiences in law school and gave me "advice" including:
(1) Not to take summer jobs at personal injury firms since that will only set you up for personal injury jobs (thanks, I hadn't realized)
(2) That their professor on the first day told everyone to "look to your right & look to your left. One of those people won't be here in a month." I asked them if this professor taught Contracts (since this is a scene out of Paper Chase) and was greeted with a blank stare.
(3) That they had graduated from Seton Hall and got a job at the top firm in NJ who didn't ask for grades. I noted that Seton Hall was the best NJ regional school to which they seriously replied, "No. Isn't Princeton Law School?"

Prove your strength. We're going to need some serious anecdotal evidence!basedvulpes wrote:Is it fair for me to check-in here when I haven't even applied to law school yet? Applying this fall and the Quitting-my-job-soon-iorits is strong.
Also: ITFR, I'm jealous, but that's awesome! Enjoy your very long weekend coming up!

Eh, I'm probably not going to analyze 700 posts for when most are posted. That would be anti-QMJSioritis.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
