I think I got my first one in mid-afternoon, and then my second one yesterday around 11:30am. LR and LPW both showed up at like 11pm. Think it's pretty random though.

Got Civ Pro this morning. Still waiting on Torts, which is ridiculous at this point (test was 12/9).

How is it that the small section professors, who had way fewer exams to grade, are the last ones (and it wasn't my last exam either)

Honestly don't mind median at this point (and assuming a B in Torts, that's where I'll be). I sucked last semester. Worst work habits since freshmen year of college.

think it's 3.33, 3.41, and 3.8

though the latter two have some stips iirc (like nothing below B- or something)

For Kent, it is basically impossible to get the GPA requirement without meeting the letter grade requirement, so just assume you can only have 1 b-range grade.

The only honors stipulations are
Stone: 15+ graded credits, no c-range grades, 3.41 GPA
Kent: 15+ graded credits and either 3.8 GPA or only 1 b-range grade

Official language on honors:
http://web.law.columbia.edu/prizes-awards wrote: James Kent Scholars

A student shall be named a Kent scholar if during an academic year the student has earned at least 15 graded law credits toward his or her degree, and in that year either 1) has achieved a grade point average of 3.800, or 2) has received grades all or all but one of which are A+, A, or A- (the exception being no lower than B), and, if the lowest grade is put aside, at least half of which are A or A+. Only law credits are used to calculate honors. No one will receive honors for a year which includes a grade of “Incomplete.”

Harlan Fiske Stone Scholars

A student shall be named a Stone scholar if during an academic year the student has earned at least 15 graded law credits toward his or her degree, the student has received no grade lower than B-, and the student’s academic average for the year is at or above 3.410. Only law credits are used to calculate honors. No one will receive honors for a year which includes a grade of "Incomplete."

Is this the right place to talk about course selection?

In general, when ranking classes should I assume seminars are more competitive than lectures?

If by competitive you are referring to the curve, then seminars are less competitive. Here are the two curves:

UPPERYEAR COURSES (Lectures)
A+*: 0.64%
A: 15.63%
A-: 26.00%
B+: 33.23%
B: 20.88%
B-/C/F: Assigned as earned

UPPERYEAR SEMINARS
A+*: 1.59%
A: 30.29%
A-: 36.69%
B+: 25.48%
B: 4.81%
B-/C/F: Assigned as earned

Edit: I realize now you're probably referring to chances of actually getting your top choices in the lottery. But this curve info is still useful, so I'll leave this post up.

Starting to think literally never. I mean it's the next school year already.

Update, friend said he asked at the registrar and they said they're processing them now, so "soon" is the answer
