Law Student Job Network

Post by LawPreview » Mon Nov 12, 2018 12:59 pm

Hi TLS,

At the request of many of the firms that sponsor BARBRI Law Preview Scholarships, we have developed a free service that connects employers with the law students they seek to recruit: http://jobnetwork.lawpreview.com

For 1Ls who haven’t begun next summer’s job search, or 2Ls who still haven't secured a summer gig, this is a terrific resource. Even 2Ls and 3Ls who may have already landed a job, it’s still worthwhile to create a profile and indicate where you’ll be working; as we expand the Law Preview Job Network to in-house legal departments, federal/state courts, government agencies and nonprofits, we expect that those entities will want to connect to students with real work experience. Starting on December 1st, employers will also be able to post scholarship/fellowship opportunities for 2Ls and 3Ls.

The site is currently in BETA mode and I’m inviting TLS users to be among the first to poke around and set up a profile. If you find something not working as expected, or if you have an idea that could enhance the overall user experience, please don’t be shy to send your comments to jobnetwork@lawpreview.com.
