STUPID QUESTION RE: BAR ESSAYS SCORES

Post by barexaminerssuck27 » Fri Mar 15, 2019 1:21 am

Lets say you got a 50 on one essay. And your total score is 1420 on the exam.

So does it mean if you got a 70 instead on that essay....your will score be 1440?

Do I just add the extra 20 points or there's more raw points? As in, it is 20 points even?

I hope I made sense.

Note: This question only applies to the California bar.

No, essays are given raw scores in increments of 5 (or 2.5 if regraded and averaged).

Scaled score (out of 2000) is different. The conversion formula differs each exam.
