New York July 2018 Bar Exam Hangout Thread Forum

been following this thread for a bit. Just went to the July 2017 bar exam thread on Top Law Schools and looked at the comments. Someone posted at around 4 pm on Oct. 23rd that NCBE uploaded the MEE questions. That night at around 10:30 people started to get emails. I have no idea if this is legit or not. If someone wants to fact check me please do. its the July 2017 Bar Hangout thread on Top Law Schools on page 52.

Just want this WAIT OVER...I cant focus on life anymore.

Also, if any of you would like to masochistically relive a nightmare, the July 2017 MEE questions are online now:

I too have been spending too much time on this threat and 2017. I went back to 2016 and found that a user posted about MEE being released and that same night they got results.

While its possible NY results may come out tonight, please trust me when I say there is NO PATTERN between when the MEE are posted and when the NY results are released. The July 2016 MEE were released on 10/17/16, not 10/27/16 (while J16 exam results were released on 10/28/16). I know this for a fact because I track changes made on NCBE's website (see below). Also for February exams, the MEE are released much later than when NY releases results (e.g. F18 NY results were released 4/24/18 while the F18 MEE questions were released 5/10/18)

July results are usually at night. But this last February results cycle they appeared without warning in the middle of the work day. So who knows?

I’m legitimately jealous of my non-anxious friends that haven’t spent a minute worrying about the results because it’s an enormous waste of energy. And they won’t until they get the email. I will never be that person.

I'm confused about this because only the questions have been released, not the analyses, which is what posters from previous years have reported----ncbe only released the essay questions and did not release the answers on those dates--

So I am 100% certain that the July 2016 MEE Questions and Answer Analyses were released on 10/17/16. Meanwhile, the J16 NY results were released on 10/28/16 (11 days later). That person just happened to check on 10/27/16 without knowing the J16 MEE Answers were posted 10 days earlier.

For what it's worth, I don't think J16 is a good indicator only because it was the first time NY administered the UBE. I think J17 is much more indicative and that year, the day the MEE questions went up was the same day the results were sent.
