Studying for the Texas bar in another country

Post by bobbykgarcia » Fri Oct 05, 2018 1:36 pm

Didn't take July bar but planning Feb bar. I'm usually suffering from pretty heavy allergies around December-February which will make my health miserable and could affect bar prep. I know I can go to the Caribbean and not suffer at all from allergies and it could possibly help me focus but I guess the advantage of staying in Texas is that I could study with certain classmates who failed or who haven't taken the bar yet and they can help me stay accountable.

What y'all think?

Sorry about your allergies, they are definitely miserable. What does your doctor say? My sister used to get shots. For me, I would do better dealing with my allergies with my doctor and staying to study with friends. Save the Caribbean for after you pass the bar! But you are the one that knows what will work best for you. Good luck.

Caribbean to study for the bar exam sound like torture and also very expensive. There are some drugs that to miracles for allergies with barely any side effects. Talk to your doctor and go to the Caribbean when you can actually enjoy a vacation!
