NY JULY 2019 EXAM BAR PREP-FOREIGN ATTORNEY

Post by Jcanqueen » Fri Jul 20, 2018 12:46 pm

Hi Everyone!

Need some information on which is the better course for bar exam preparation for NY. I'm a Jamaican attorney without a LLM degree and not planning on pursuing one. I plan to take the JULY 2019 NY BAR EXAM. However, I need help on finding the best bar prep course. I need a course that will provide me with enough information to pass the NY bar exam. And honestly wouldn't mind preparing from now...i've heard about THEMIS LLM and BARBRI INTERNATIONAL HOME STUDY...PLEASE HELP!!!! Thank you! Btw I'm based in Florida.

I'm based in Florida, taking the NY in Feb19. I work full time so I started early, using BarMax and still looking for more supplement when I'm done, depending on how much time I would have left to study, and how prepared I would feel closer to exam date.

I believe 5-6 months they say is max prep. Longer than that and you risk forgetting what you studied. It's not too late to start for the Feb 2019, but for July 2019, I believe you have to wait, since there will be materials to be added for that exam date that are not even available now.

My $0.02.

I liked using Themis because as a full-time worker I was able to start studying in March.
