On CBX essays, how much time allocated to outlining vs. actual writing?

I need at least 10 minutes to go through the facts and then outline, but that sometimes doesn’t give me enough time for the actual writing.

If you have set up your outline correctly, with issues and sub-issues identified and rules set out (shorthand or whatever), the rest should just be plug and chug. This outlining step is relatively short (15 minutes max), but it's where most of the thinking goes.

How's your typing speed?
