DC option to take one portion of Bar

Post by R_G » Mon May 21, 2018 6:30 pm

Hi, I took this past DC bar, and was unsuccessful, I did pass the essay/MPT section, but was 15 points short on the MBE to get a passing score overall. I know DC has the option to sit at another administration for the portion you did not pass.

Has anyone does this? And in addition, have they then been successful in transferring their score from two sittings to another UBE jurisdiction? Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks!

I passed the MBE first and then sat for the MEE only this previous administration and passed. If you dont pass the entire exam in one administration, you cannot transfer your score as portable. So either you take the entire exam over and try to pass overall so you can have a portable score or take just the mbe and get sworn in only in DC.
