Hi! Let's talk. I'm about to start studying for the CO bar as well, I graduated a few years ago so I don't have anyone to suffer through it with me.

I'm really just concerned about the 276 UBE score and the points needed on the MBE. I am guessing it is a raw score of about 125. I am from Texas so I don't really have anyone to suffer through it either! What bar course are you taking? I am taking Themis.

I'm using Barbri but I've heard great things about Themis. I took the exam after law school, didn't prepare enough, and received a 274. My weak point was the MBE, so I am definitely focusing on that much more this time around. Veryyyy anxious!

I'm also sitting for CO for the first time and using BarBri. I've been doing only BarBri and a few Themis questions from a 2017 Themis MBE book I bought but I feel like its not nearly enough. I've been finishing early and doing some of the next day's assignments so I've been staying about a day or two ahead of the PSP. Is anyone else doing the same and if not, what else are you doing to prep outside of BarBri's plan?

Don't prep outside of BarBri's plan. It's totally unnecessary.

I just bought the Critical Pass flashcards so I’m hoping that using those will be more helpful than any of BarBri’s outlines. If anyone else is looking to get them here’s a discount code: http://criticalpass.refr.cc/makenzieb

46 days to go!

I also purchased the critical pass flashcards, I heard they are really helpful! I've glanced at them but haven't started really using them yet... I plan to start reviewing them for an hour a day when I am 4 weeks out, and then reviewing them regularly at the 2 week mark. I was curious how far along others are on Barbri's paced program... I am at 45% and the "expected progress" for today is 27%. I am working full time though, so I started a week early. Right now I'm only putting in about 6-7 hours a day. Where are you guys at?

I'm trying to schedule it so I am totally done with Barbri two weeks before the exam and can exclusively focus on practice questions and memorization.

Hello, all! Went to law school in Massachusetts--everyone else I know is taking it in MA for the most part. I'm using Kaplan (got it for free, beggars can't be choosers) and I feel like I have to do a LOT outside the class to keep up or perform even remotely well. Freaking out a little bit about being able to cram all this info in my brain.

Somewhat off topic, but upon receiving a few requests, I published some tips/examples of mnemonics/analogies/acronyms etc. here: https://blockbusterblawg.com/2018/06/16 ... -examples/ and if you find them helpful or have any requests topic wise, I think I have a document somewhere with all the ones I used/created. If I can't find the doc, they're definitely in my hard copy binder. Also, I have some materials up currently on my "study aid" page. Good luck everyone! Hit that 276!

We are 9 days out guys. Insane! Is anyone else feeling like they can't possibly learn any more law?

Yes. Trying to stay focused while still discouraged with the results. Having a hard time breaking 65% on MBE.

Y’all! We are a week out and I’m going to be sick. How are y’all holding up? I’m going up to CO this weekend to put an offer on a house. Hopefully my “financing” aka bar results, don’t fall through. One week. One week. Eeeek
