Re: Foreign Lawyer - Bar review course! Help
Hi, what country are you trained in? England-specific advice will be different from China-specific advice.
Firstly, there are gaps in your knowledge especially when it comes to Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law and Criminal Procedure. I filled it with a few basic-level books in those areas.
I took Barbri and the videos were the most helpful to me, as they were very 'big picture'. Themis materials are less comprehensive compared to Barbri but it is more readable (layman language-y) compared to the dry Barbri materials.
I would encourage you to spend time assessing your weakest spots and getting supplements for them regardless of the prep course. Also, get critical pass flashcards.

Re: Foreign Lawyer - Bar review course! Help
Hi,
I was trained in the UK. I do have some basic contracts and torts knowledge. I am planing on doing Themis because I dont think I can handle the 3 hour Barbri lectures and Barbri told me that I needed to do the 6 month course which I thought was ridiculous.
