My question to those who passed and especially did well in MEE/MPT -
1. What gameplan/strategy did you follow that helped you ace MEE/MPT?
2. Did anyone find Studicata, JD Advising's One Sheets, or Lean Sheets helpful for MEE?
3. What are the best resources to learn and memorize BLL? Conviser? Any other suggestions?
I want to make sure I'm in the right track and prepared well this time for MEE/MPT.
For July 2017 exam, I had spent most of my time making my own outline of MBE subjects and listening to video lectures, and I didn't get much time to go through Barbri's Conviser and the MEEs/MPT books thoroughly and maybe that's why I deserve the numbers I got.
There's just so much of noise out with different TLS posters using and recommending Adaptibar, NCBE MBE OPEs, Serapac UBE Master, JD Advising's One Sheets, etc. It's making me confused and has left me wondering if I'm on the right track for Feb 2018 exam. Thanks again in advance for any suggestion/advise/strategy you may have for me.
I passed NY on my 3rd attempt. It also took me 3 attempts to pass pre-UBE NJ. I passed NJ in July 2015 and NY in July 2017. The first time I took NY (February 2014), I didn't complete the exam due to a medical emergency. The second time I took NY (July 2014), I bombed it. My MBE was a 118.6. I was scheduled to take NJ after the second day of NY. I didn't even bother showing up. I took NJ in February 2015 and failed with a 123.2 MBE. I passed NJ in July 2015 with a 130.2 MBE. I passed NY in July 2017 with a 149.3 MBE.
In 2014, I was dealing with medical issues and low self-confidence after 7 shitty semesters in law school. I froze the first two times I took the bar. After I got the monkey off my back in July 2015, I realized that the bar exam can be beaten. Passing wasn't impossible.
My overall score was a 278 (as you know, passing is 266). I technically failed the MEE/MPT portion. I totally fucked up on the second MPT. As for MEE's, I guess you can print out as many old exams as possible and look for patterns in the correct answers. There are certain trigger words that earn you points.
Don't waste your money on Lean Sheets. I bought them. They're utterly useless. I strongly suggest making your own outlines. I provided links to some FREE outlines. I used them and it helped me a lot. Use them as a reference, but still make your own outlines. There are some California distinctions- ignore them:

Also, buy some used Barbri books on Amazon. Don't try to memorize the whole thing- just memorize the Conviser.
As for the MBE, simply doing a lot isn't enough. You need a specific technique which will help you attack it.
These books give you instructions on how to break down MBE questions:

Once you've read these books, practice the techniques on these books:

These questions are the hardest. They're the same level of difficulty as questions you'll encounter on the actual bar:

Adaptibar is shit. They use outdated questions that are way too easy. Furthermore, it's online. The actual MBE is done on a scantron. I don't make guarantees. However, I believe that my suggestions will help you pass.
I had a shitty LSAT score and nearly got academically dismissed- and I passed two bar exams. If I can pass a bar exam, any human being can pass a bar exam.
