What do you get if you cross a lawyer with The Godfather?

An offer you can't understand

Client: how much do you charge if I just ask you three questions?
Lawyer: $1000 per question.
Client: $1000?!!! That's pretty pricey, isn't it?
Lawyer: Sure is. So what's your third question?

A guy phones a law office and says: "I want to speak to my lawyer."
The receptionist replies "I'm sorry but he died last week."
The next day he phones again and asks the same question. The receptionist replies "I told you yesterday, he died last week."
The next day the guy calls again and asks to speak to his lawyer. By this time the receptionist is getting a little annoyed and says "I keep telling you that your lawyer died last week. Why do you keep calling?"
The guy says, "Because I just love hearing you say that."

A young man I know, who recently became law clerk to a prominent New Jersey judge, was asked to prepare a suggested opinion in an important case. After working on the assignment for some time, he proudly handed in a 23-page document.

When he got it back, he found a terse comment in the judge’s handwriting on page 7: "Stop romancing—propose already."

War Story from the Exam:

I sat next to a poor guy whose computer crashed during the MPT section for like 15 minutes. He finally got it up and running again with the help of the I.T. desk people. Later, during the essay portion of the exam, his computer crashed twelve times. On the twelfth time the i.t. person made some settings change in his computer and told him "we should have done that the first time, you won't have any more problems at all." He didn't have any other crashes! THIRTEEN crashes! Poor guy.

Many years ago, a junior partner in a firm was sent to a far-away state to represent a long-term client accused of robbery. After days of trial, the case was won, the client acquitted and released. Excited about his success, the attorney telegraphed the firm: "Justice prevailed." The senior partner replied in haste: "Appeal immediately."

Apparently WashU law grads have been able to access the bar results early on mble in the past - is there anyone who is computer-savvy and willing to give it a try? I have a job riding on the next 24hrs and I'm dying here :(

I just saw that MBLE took down February's results from the site. Probably got everything ready for July's.

Safe assumption, a similar thing happened in IL for February. A TLSer even replaced the word July with February and the year 2016 with 2017 within the previous results web based PDF to review the accumulative statistics the night before the results were actually released. Was impressive.

Please tell me: how many times is it required to submit the essay answers? There is one record on my home page. I worry it required to submit MPT and MEE answers separately, so I missed to submit one session. I totally forgot the requirements. HELP please!!!

No, you only had to submit once at the end of the first day. Good luck!

Where do they put results? Just on the user home page directly? I don't see mine and now I'm spooked. :/

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
