Has anyone received their results to the NC bar yet? I think NC is the first to publish....

Not yet. According to a dean at one of the NC Law schools, the letters are being mailed today and will likely arrive in applicant's mailboxes tomorrow and Saturday.

NC, unlike some other states, does not publicly release (as a matter of course) information on MBE scores or overall passage rates. NC provides certain information to NC Law schools regarding passage rates (nothing on scores), but unless that information leaks (as it did last time around), you won't have too much information from NC. In terms of information to test takers, you only get a letter saying pass or fail. If you fail, you can get a score report including MBE score and essays scores; it will also show scaling and total points.

About a week after scores are mailed, NC will publish online a list of those who passed.

So, bottom line, I don't think that you'll be able to glean much from NC releasing results unless there is a leak of the document that NC gives the law schools.

I really hope they actually mailed out the results today. The uncertainty is so much more nerve-racking for out-of-state students like myself.

Same. Apparently there's a rumor going around (on a different law school forum) that the scores are being delayed 2-3 weeks due an MBE issue, but I highly doubt anybody was revealed that information...

Also I don't know how much I trust the rumor of the dean sending out an email. I haven't been able to confirm it with anyone.

I spoke to my mailman today in Raleigh (at a big apartment complex), and he hasn't seen letters yet. Hoping for tomorrow in Raleigh.

I'm in Raleigh. According to my USPS Informed Delivery digest, there's a letter from the Board of Law Examiners coming today.

Good, I didn't want to get anything done today anyway.

I have informed delivery too and I don't have anything listed as being delivered today.

Not that I don't believe you. I just am mad at everything right now.

Passed in Raleigh - also heard of letters in Durham and Carrboro; however, I also know friends who live in downtown Raleigh who did not get letters today. Good luck everyone! Good vibes are being sent for speedy delivery and positive results.

I live in North Raleigh. I did not get a letter today. Just as well, not expecting good news there. Congratulations to everyone who passed.

My move (when I took NC 4 years ago) was to make my wife open it and just find out by her reaction -- no regrets, that moment is seared into my brain forever.

Same here, my friend. Hoping it shows up in tomorrow's mail, but I'm expecting it'll come on Thursday. I absolutely hate this waiting game.

I failed. I called Themis and they are offering a free repeat. They have been extremely helpful. I do hope to pass the second time around.
