Do we file for admission post-bar exam or before
noob question, but first thing is to pass a state bar exam right? filing admission paperwork with the departments etc. comes after? Just making sure. thanks

Depends on the state. Typically you fill out admission paperwork both before and after the test. In some states (Ohio, for instance), there are preliminary C&F forms to fill out as early as your 2L year: no big deal if you miss them, but you pay a penalty. Check your jurisdiction.

In CA, you can do it before or after.....but you should do it before. Because the C&F paperwork takes forever (mine took nearly 10 months)
