Checking in. It took about a week for my status to change to "Application Accepted" and "Notice Accepted (July 2017)."

My status finally changed to "accepted" today! Does anyone know when we find out which testing site we are assigned to?

My transcript doesn't include all of my most recent grades. Does that matter for the status update? I'm assuming not since I've graduated.

I think that would only matter for the Law School Transcript "Received/Not Received" field, and not necessarily the Application Filing Status.asundialwatch wrote:My transcript doesn't include all of my most recent grades. How long has your application been pending? I'm at a week and a half...

I got the acceptance at the end of last week. No transcript sent in so it must not matter for that.

Got my exam ticket in the mail today. I feel okay about the MBE, but unprepared for the essays.

I'm in the same boat. Essays are definitely my biggest concern.MarsPalace wrote:Got my exam ticket in the mail today. I feel okay about the MBE, but unprepared for the essays.

It would be nice to know what a passing answer looks like instead of a perfect answer.MarsPalace wrote:Got my exam ticket in the mail today. I feel okay about the MBE, but unprepared for the essays.

Re: July 2017 Maryland Bar Exam
I'm just worried about keeping all the Maryland distinctions in mind. Also, secured transactions/commercial paper are annoying since I had no exposure to those areas in law school.DCESQ wrote:It would be nice to know what a passing answer looks like instead of a perfect answer.MarsPalace wrote:Got my exam ticket in the mail today. Maybe I am just late to the party here but MD puts out some actual passing answers with the past questions, which I think is helpful and makes me feel better.

Re: July 2017 Maryland Bar Exam
Is it just me or is it pretty much impossible to keep in mind all the MD property distinctions along with the common law (for the MBE)? I have to imagine that they will either include a question extract with technical rules or will credit answers that overlook some highly specific Maryland distinction. But I could be wrong...

Re: July 2017 Maryland Bar Exam
I had mine last week. It was pretty quick, and my interviewer told me that she would recommend my admission to the bar (with respect to the character/fitness requirement, that is).MarsPalace wrote:Has anyone done a personal interview yet?

I haven't heard anything yet re: character and fitness interview. I guess I have to just keep waiting, though I wish the interviewers reached out early to schedule a date/time for an interview so it would at least be on my calendar.

Re: July 2017 Maryland Bar Exam
I had mine a couple of weeks ago and had a very similar experience. It may have lasted three minutes, and then my interviewer told me she would recommend my admission to the bar. I received a notification from the sble ebar email address the next day confirming what my interviewer said.bmmccb223 wrote:I had mine last week. Took a little bit here as well, but my interview is scheduled for 10/31. My references received their documents on/about 9/22, with a requested return date of 10/1.

Has anyone else had their interview but not received a status update? My interviewer told me that she was recommending my admission to the bar a few weeks ago but I haven't heard anything since.

Was a pretty shitty essay. I had no idea. Thought it was a mixed K with hardly any property question on it. Probably failedLawmakers wrote:Yes!! Lolbmmccb223 wrote:Was that the landlord/tenant one?
