Depends what you mean by studying. I've looked at the different types they could test us on, and have practiced a few, but that's about it.

Does anyone happen to have a good attack outline on evidence they wouldn’t mind sharing? I am struggling hard with this subject, and it is ripe for both morning and afternoon essays. I would be willing to trade any of mine if needed.

Can someone confirm that we're not supposed to be bringing in our laptops on Day Two? The instructions are unclear.

Can confirm, laptops are only on day 1 for the IEE/MPT/MEE.

Not really an attack outline but I've just been using Tanicus's write-ups/the reddit link he posted in the sticky thread.

Is anyone else irrationally terrified about having to upload the answer file after the test at home/coffeeshop/hotel,etc.?

Seems like something I could definitely screw up.

It looks like a very straightforward process (assuming their network doesn't crash again lol), but if you're at all technologically-challenged go to the site (http://go.examsoft.com/barexamupload) and read up on the instructions the day before.

I don't understand why they do that. Indiana made you upload it before leaving and had reps from Examsoft there in case there was a problem with the upload.

I am more scared of the Windows 10 Creator issue. I downloaded the woraround, but Examsoft made it sound like there is no guarantee that I wont have an issue on exam day.

Hi Guys,

Another test taker checking in. I took a look at the frequency charts and I have a hunch we will be getting a will and trusts essay, a secured transactions, IL Civ pro (of course), Federal Civ Pro, and Equity. Not sure about the rest.

I have a feeling Corporations and Family won't be tested.

What are your predictions?

For Illinois essays im predicting: Illinois Civ Pro; Family law; and random MBE subject.

For MEE - https://excellenceinlawschool.com/july- ... edictions/ ... someone was saying they were 4/6 for February... but really a crapshoot.

Family Law is definitely tested frequently but I noticed that it hasn't been tested back to back since 09' and it was tested this February. It is one of the easier subjects though, so no big deal if it is tested.

I'm taking the test at UIC Pavilion.

Does anyone know what the laptop charging situation is there? I'm not sure my laptop can hold a charge on its own for 8 hours. Are there outlets at every seat? Can I bring an extension cord? Etc.

Thanks for any help!

There are multi-plug outlets every few seats so you should have no issue having a place to plug in. You wont have to leave your laptop on battery power only. Breathe easy.

Wait, the administrative law that may or may not be tested on the IEE is federal admin law?

Well, it seems to be a mix. But it's Illinois-specific administrative law (which exists lol) for the most part, looking at the barbri essay questions.

I have this Barbri book that has answered every IEE question since 1995. Of the five Admin law questions (tells you the likelihood of seeing one), 3 were federal and 2 were Illinois Administrative Review Law.

I just finished the full day Emanuel MBE and got my best raw score yet (147/200). BUT there had to have been maybe 10-20 questions that were similar to or the exact same as Barbri questions...which tempers my enthusiam about my score. Does anyone know if the examiners reuse general fact patterns to test similar concepts?

From what I understand, the only Illinois distinctions worth worrying about are in civil procedure. All of the other questions can be answered with common law and achieve a passing score.

Anyone else feeling a little pessimistic about passing chances at this point? I've missed chunks of the summer due to some family issues, and I just haven't done nearly as much as I've wanted to. I've done about 50% of my course. I've listened to the lectures on every topic, but haven't successfully memorized much or drilled too many practice questions. Any hope for general test-taking ability carrying the day?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
