So Federal Income Tax has never appeared and Administrative Law only appeared once in February 2011 as a component of a IL Civil Procedure question. Couldn't the state be a little more chill and just take them off the list?

Or just go to UBE and make things more manageable for everyone.star fox wrote:So Federal Income Tax has never appeared and Administrative Law only appeared once in February 2011 as a component of a IL Civil Procedure question. Re: 2017 July Illinois Bar
Does anyone have a good resource for IEE outlines? This will be my second bar exam, and my MBE scores are transferring, so I'll only be taking the essay day. I'm enrolled in Kaplan, but I am working full time with no opportunity to take any time off before the bar, so I'm fairly behind. Any resources for pre-made, and condense, IEE outlines much appreciated!!
It would be quite nice if IL got on board with UBE....

We're in similar positions, only taking the essays and little time to study. That means you have to be pretty strategic with the studying. For the IEE, I would only worry about Illinois Civ Pro and Equity, because those are the only non-MEE topics frequently tested by Illinois. I have outlines for both of them. Shoot me a pm with your email address.hi3 wrote:Does anyone have a good resource for IEE outlines? So then, would it be safe to skip studying for Commercial Paper, Fed. Tax, and Administrative law all together? I already watched the lectures, but don’t really remember the content very well. Would my time be better invested studying other topics?
BTW: Corporations is another topic that comes up on the IEE about 60% of the time according to my commercial bar review materials.

That's what I'm doing. Outside of MEE topics, the only IL topics I'm studying are Illinois Civil Procedure and Equity. Could they throw in another one of those topics, even though none of them have been tested in the last 10 bar exams? Sure, but I doubt it'll happen. There hasn't been an Illinois exam since F06 that hasn't tested either Illinois Civ Pro or Equity, so now they're down to two subjects. Out of the last 10 exams, they've tested both of them 5 times. That leaves one subject and it will be likely to be an MEE one.Steve2207 wrote:star fox wrote:So Federal Income Tax has never appeared and Administrative Law only appeared once in February 2011 as a component of a IL Civil Procedure question. When do we find out where we're taking the bar exam?

On my confirmation to take the bar exam, it said they'd tell us two weeks before. Crazy to think it's just three weeks out.

Anyone else get an email regarding the Windows Creator Update not being compatible for examsoft? I have the update, but I am unclear as to whether it is safe to use the "workaround" option provided, or if it is preferred to get a new laptop?

I wouldn't get a new laptop unless you have to. Email the address they gave you.Steve2207 wrote:Anyone else get an email regarding the Windows Creator Update not being compatible for examsoft? I just have a bad feeling that we are getting to get either a commercial paper or admin law question for IEE.

That's a fantastic question. I went to a lecture titled Commercial Paper, but sure as hell can't tell you what it was about.

Should I be concerned if I haven't heard anything about my character and fitness application? I did submit late (mid-March), but I was wondering if I still should have heard something by now. Is anyone else in that boat?

If you had to choose one or two of these subjects to study for the IEE, which would it be?
- Administrative Law
- Commercial Paper
- Federal Tax
- Personal Property
- Suretyship

For what it's worth, I'm focusing the least on Fed Tax and Admin.itsme123 wrote:If you had to choose one or two of these subjects to study for the IEE, which would it be?

This is based off no reasoning other than the frequency chart, but I'd do Personal Property and Suretyship. If I had to add in a third, Tax.itsme123 wrote:If you had to choose one or two of these subjects to study for the IEE, which would it be?
