Looks like 2124 examinees passed. An increase of 26 over last year. The rest of the stats will have to wait though.

I guess it’ll take them a while to upload everything to ATLAS. Mine still doesn’t have anything on it.

Nope. I feel like it took a day or two in the past, but don't recall for sure. My count of passing examinees was based on a ctrl-f for "(" on the pass list (each examinee had one open paren and there were none in the preambulatory section).TheJanitor6203 wrote:Do you know when the school pass % will come out?BVest wrote:Looks like 2124 examinees passed. I'm one of the people with a star because apparently I have not yet "Satisfaction of the requirement of present good moral character and fitness for admission to the Bar." Anyone know how to fix that?

Re: July 2017 Texas Bar Exam
The breakdown of pass/fail %s by takers/law school was published the same day as my results from the Feb 2016 exam. I remember because my colleagues took me to happy hour that night and I remember telling them about the low overall passage rate, which I read from the %s published shortly after the results.BVest wrote:Nope. Does anyone know if there is a different official ceremony in Dallas besides the one in Austin? I'm not sure how this whole swearing in/oath thing works when you aren't able to go down to Austin b/c of work.

Re: July 2017 Texas Bar Exam
Do you know any judges in Dallas who will administer the oath? If not, just call a court clerk, tell them your situation, and try to set up an appointment. Local bar associations also do this, so contact them next.ilovelacroix wrote:Does anyone know if there is a different official ceremony in Dallas besides the one in Austin? Edit: this is from 2015:
https://blog.texasbar.com/2015/10/artic ... eremonies/The Dallas Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is co-sponsoring a swearing-in ceremony with the Dallas Bar Association and Dallas Association of Young Lawyers at 4 p.m. November 17 at the Belo Mansion & Pavilion, 2101 Ross Ave. The ceremony is open to all individuals who passed the July Texas bar exam and successfully completed all other necessary requirements. Families of newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to attend. Judge David Godbey of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas, and Justice Douglas Lang of the 5th District Court of Appeals of Texas will conduct the ceremony. Parking is available for a small fee. Business attire is suggested. RSVP (required) to Cherie Harris (cherieh@dayl.com).

Re: July 2017 Texas Bar Exam
Congratulations! I can’t imagine having to go through this even twice, much less three times (and I fully admit that me passing involved a lot of dumb luck given how unprepared I was). But you persevered through all that hell and of course you made it!Estecontre wrote:OMG GOD!!! Your insights about the essay grading really helped calm my nerves and you were just a big help in general, so thanks!!! Congrats again!
