TIPS for RE-takers (first time exam taker welcome)

Post by happyhour1122 » Fri Apr 28, 2017 6:34 am

Hi guys!
For those preparing for July 2017, I just wanted share my check list of all the questions I did to improve 40 points on my second bar exam.
Keeping track of all the work books/questions you've done not only helps you stay motivated but, it will organize your study plan.
The tip here is this: For all the questions you get wrong, make a separate google doc, and write down a 1-2 sentence to why you got that question wrong. Later, when you review them, you can simply go back to your notes again and remind yourself OR can resolve that question and see if you get it the next time.
I have my own notes which summarizes all the questions I got wrong. If you need some help msg me.

DO NOT ONLY OUTLINE. You must learn to write out the rule. Make it a habbit. For an example, if you talk about contracts, you must immediately know to write the offer, acceptance, consideration.
If you are using Barbi, they have great samples. If you missed some of the arguments, WRITE IT OUT IN YOUR NOTES so you know that's one of the possible arguments.

Many people asked me how to accomplish these schedules. But it depends on YOUR OWN SCHEDULE. I worked full time for the first 2 month from nov to mid dec. Then, i worked part time from Jan up to the exam date.

I studied before going into work, sometimes during work (breaks, lunch or when I have no work), again after work and weekends. It's not about how many hours you spend. Focus on accomplishing by topics or page numbers.

If you send me your realistic schedule, I can help you stay organized!
