i was playing around with softest and it seems like we only need our BOLE password to download the files. the exams themselves are then opened with the password they give us. i can only assume this is logical, as my BOLE password is alphanumeric bullshit and would just one more useless thing we would need to memorize

i plan to bring my glasses cloth in my personal belongings bag, but would think that a case or cloth is not allowed in the room given how strict everything else seems. but i do not know for sure

At the risk of stating the obvious:

No matter how poorly you think you did today, make sure you hit the refresh button and get ready to pounce on tomorrow. I felt absolutely devastated after the essay day last year and had to force myself back the next day (and emotionally prepare for failing for the next few weeks/months) to do my best on day 2. I was completely convinced there was no way my essays could've passed, but I was fortunate enough to have passed in the end. Don't let any issues on day 1 carry over into day 2. You got this.

2. Constitutional law
3. Secured
4. Wills (with a RAP problem)
5. Crim Pro and Evdience
6. Civ Pro and Conflicts of Law

Wow!! JD Advising predicted almost exactly this 5/6 with the exception being they predicted crim law/crim pro and had evidence as a separate essay I think.

Wow. I was pretty stunned by the challenge today. These questions were harder than barbris practice exam 1 for sure. Thankfully there's a curve!

It's scaled but no one gets a perfect 200 on each section. The highest I've heard is 185 so x2 would be like 370/400. In some way that's essentially a curve...as the best score is around a 370 (maybe one person) and the rest fall from there.

Didn't think Torts, Con Law, or Crim/Evidence were tooooo bad, definitely could've been worse. The Wills RAP issue confused me and I barely addressed it. Wills also had a bit of a Trusts issue, right? Sec Trans. was iffy & I'd like to hear what others answered for it if we're allowed to do that. I think the answer turned on a sneaky non-obvious fact, hopefully others know what I'm talking about. Civ Pro I literally had close to no idea what they were asking on the choice of law questions.

They were straightforward and predictable but I know that there were timing issues all over the place for people.

Choice of law wrecked me too. I found Con Law to be tough as well, and Sec Trans and Wills were both sort of odd. All in all it was a pretty hard set of questions imo, nothing seemed straightforward.
