Indiana results just posted to our BLE accounts. As a second time taker, I was very thankful to pass.

Best of luck everyone.

Yep, a decent hotel is easily 200 plus a night. Did you find a cheap testing site? Usually the rural testing sites have cheap hotels.
Yes a motel a couple of miles outside Albany as all hotels in the centre were fully booked when I looked.

I did rent a car to drive upstate from JFK, which proved to be really handy for the exam too.

happyhour - Then I will apply again for the next annual lottery and keep working in Europe.
I will still try to apply for US jobs, but the applicable H1B1 visa makes it virtually impossible without support from a future employer (and its a big burden for the employer, not just financially!).
You are in Euro? You took an international flight to take the bar exam?
Wow H1B sounds like a burden.
I saw a lot of people in the exam site that flew international to take the bar exam.
Imagine having to come back for the interview and the swearing in ceremony... @.@
Most states don't have interview. But it will be such a pain to adjust the time difference for the exam. I would arrive at least two days earlier prior to the exam.
I'm based in Europe too. Already crossed the pond 3 times the past 9 months (twice for the UBE and one for the MPRE) and if I pass I will have to come back a fourth time for the interview.[/quote]

PersistentAttorney - seems to be a NY requirement with the interview attendance in the US? For CA admission I just have to go to the US embassy!

Every state is a little different, some states even allow a public notary to take your Attorney oath.

Jesus, how much you spend on air tickets?

I hope you don't fly United for your interview.....because they could drag you out.. its possible you know...you don't want to miss your interview.
Nope only European airlines :D
BA, Norwegian, Al Italia and Deutsche Lufthansa are the main European airlines with US flights, aren't they;-)

Lufthansa to Euro, Cathy, EVA or ANA to Asia. Never UA or AA.
BA has better deals & locations for Euro - US!

Really, I never had a chance to fly BA. I mainly fly with star alliance, quite happy and impressive with Lufthansa Airbus 380.

Never flown in one of those. Comfy? Last time I flew with Lufthansa it was a smaller airbus and seating was a bit uncomfortable.

Oh I had no idea! Will check it out. Although one would want to fully experience his/her admission, no?

If you compare the February 2017 applicant list with the passing list, 20/62 people passed Maine's exam (32.2%). I don't know how many people were no-shows, but that's really low for Maine. Compare to last year's 60%.

Maybe I'm missing something - I only compared the list of applicants with the number of numbers on the passing list.
