i heard mpre score could determine the bar score...
not being high enough (regardless of pass/fail) now I'm extra worried about my bar results.

I scored a 66 on my first MPRE after studying very little. I studied pretty substantially this time around and STILL felt worse after taking it than I had the first time around.

Somehow managed a 113. Makes little sense to me, but I'll take it.

It's like golf. The lower the number, the better you did IMO.

Whew. 122. Didn't feel great leaving the test -- thought it was significantly tougher than the BarBri practice questions.

For reference, I got a 93 back in 2013 when I first took it (stupid expiring test scores...)

How does this work? I got a 99 and will be taking the bar in Texas (I'm a 2L). Should I be worried?

I got a 102, which I feel incredibly grateful for after studying for about 3 hrs total and spending only one of the two allotted hours on the actual test

I failed for a 4th time and scored below an 82 from the last time....a 60.... I am just torn... I did not know it would be this bad. This just upsets me so much that now I know for a fact that I will fail the bar in july... my hope is gone

You're not alone.

edit: I meant RE that feeling. But it was a really weird exam. It doesnt mean you'll fail the bar.

Thanks. I hope you get/got.

For future takers. I failed the first time in Nov. 2016 with 82. Took Kaplan at the time. I didn't study at all because we had a court filing at my law firm one day before the exam. Barely did 30 Kaplan practice questions and skimmed through the lecture notes. Failed...

Lesson learnt.

Second time. I started with the Barbri lecture, which I thought was better organized than Kaplan. It gave me a lot of conceptual clarity. I did all the practice and refresher questions that came with the Barbri lecture. I then organized my Kaplan and Barbri notes together, read and re-read them. I took three Kaplan practice tests (150 questions) and then another 50 odd questions on the Kaplan website. Looking back, I may have over-studied a little, but I had no such feelings when I was entering the test room on March 18. And I don't regret over-studying, because trust me there is no better feeling than passing the exam!

My best wishes!

I got a 130...did not see such a high score coming haha (I thought the test was more difficult than everyone made it out to be). I only needed an 80 for my state, so 130 is definitely overkill but I am just curious as to what percentile this score is compared to other test takers and how many questions correct out of 50 does a 130 equate to? Thanks for any help!

Wait what? The highest any state requires is an 85/86? If you got a 99 you passed!
Edit. Just saw their post nevermind.

I got a 116 when I took the mpre last year- this equated to around 75% of the exam right i think, so you're deff higher than that!

97 here, so passed for VA (previously passed for CA). Very happy - wasn't sure I passed since I slept about 3 hours the night before, fell asleep while waiting for the test administration to begin, and finished with more than 45 minutes to spare but was too tired to double check answers.
