I feel very not good about this new development.

For July, my girlfriend didn't receive anything about background checks and I did. She passed, I didn't. Don't fret over that.

Did you receive requests days before they released the scores by chance?

Week before, more or less.

Are we to think it doesn't really mean anything one way or the other then?

Don't think you failed just because you didn't receive one.

They will try to clear your C and F up no matter if you passed or failed because if you fail and have to take it again it's no longer a thing they have to work on unless you have bad behavior or circumstances change from one bar exam to the next. So hearing nothing is good too.

Stop making yourself worry about little things. I'm telling you it all means nothing! Lol

Interesting. Good point. I had not even considered that angle.

Yeah I don't think it really means anything. I received one of those notifications in March , because I accidentally put my work e-mail and not my supervisor's e-mail. I spoke to my employer about it and they said it was just confirming that I work there and blah blah blah. Nothing special, anyways for those of you that are first timers I wouldn't look too much into it. The rules states that they have a certain number of days to confirm your C&F portion (which I believe comes before the bar) and if you don't hear anything back that's a good thing.

Midday. But more specifically, 5-15 minutes after Justice Willett tweets.

I remember last time it took over an hour since his tweet. That sucked.

Yea after worrying last time about stuff like that I realized that they have to get it done regardless. They called me last time to say that even if I pass I still needed the MPRE and that was like a week before the results came out.

I remember that! I was like BS "results are imminent" but in fairness to Justice Willett the BLE thought they had posted the list and it took them about 20-30 minutes after they thought they had, and had published the hard copy, before they realized! Pretty sure it was just another way to torture us! Haha

Just another day. It'll be one of the longest days, so, if you're not working, go find something to take your mind off of it. Go run, play video games, watch mindless tv etc.

Good luck.

Ahh I know! I worked with my girlfriend who had taken it as well and we RAN off the office to a nearby bar. Needless to say we ran a pretty hefty tab and there was a lot of awkwardness when she passed and I didn't.

I honestly don't know what I prefer. If it's today, I'll run out of the office and wait for the results. If I pass I'm coming back to the office and tomorrow hungover. If I fail, I'm not coming back to the office and I'll be hungover and depressed tomorrow, so I really don't know. The point is, I'll be hungover.
